Job description

Dutoit Fruit invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Commercial Coordinator. This is a key role within the commercial function, responsible for coordinating packaging specifications, market requirements, and client liaison for both local and international markets.

 Key Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

·         Compilation and maintenance of the Packaging Manual, including:

o   Quality standards

o   Labelling requirements

o   Protocols for special markets

·         Drafting and distribution of packing instructions

·         Approval, compilation, and maintenance of packaging codes and GTINs

·         Liaison with local and international clients (UK, EU, and retail chains) regarding:

o   Packing specifications

o   New packaging formats

o   Claims information

·         Coordination of special markets, including:

o   Packing processes

o   Labelling requirements

o   Samples for MRL testing

o   Non-GMO declarations where applicable

·         Coordination and record keeping of claim

Minimum Requirements

·         Grade 12

·         Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the fruit industry

·         Strong administrative and coordination skills

·         Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders and clients

·         High level of accuracy and attention to detail
