Job description

  • Co-develop, implement and manage Dutoit Agri’s total rewards strategy to ensure a competitive, fair and compliant remuneration framework.
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of payroll and benefits specialists.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits and reward structures across multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, benefit fund rules and internal policies.
  • Lead the annual salary review and incentive processes.
  • Optimise HR systems to enhance automation, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice and analytical insights to management on pay, benefits and people practices.
  • Support and guide payroll system users (approximately 18) to ensure smooth and accurate processing.

Minimum requirements

  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Commerce or Finance.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Payroll, Salaries and Wages.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Reward Management, preferably within a group or multi-entity structure.
  • Proven experience working with Sage People Suite or similar HR systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and advisory skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to perform under pressure with exceptional attention to detail.
