Job description
- Partner with management to create an enabling and performance-driven culture that supports the business strategy of Dutoit Agri.
- Administer and coordinate all labour-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Assist with workforce and manpower planning to meet operational requirements.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Manage compensation processes including salary surveys, market comparisons, and job grading.
- Maintain healthy labour relations by handling union and workers committee matters with professionalism and fairness.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives that support employee growth and skills advancement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory labour legislation and internal HR policies.
- Manage the social welfare function, promoting employee wellbeing and engagement.
Minimum requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a multi-site or agricultural environment.
- Demonstrated experience in reward management and compensation will be advantageous.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Excellent administrative and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and perform well under pressure.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
